Rebekah and Daniel, I was looking for some photos of El Derramadero and I came accross your blog….thank you so much for taking all these photos, it brought many memories. Allow me to introduce myself and if I am not mistaking Daniel and I might be familiares. Daniel is your dad Pilar? If so, your dad is my cousin. I am the youngest son of Salvador Escutia and (now deceased) Lucina Damian. I am now reciding in Modesto California, near San Francisco. When I immigrated to the USA, my first stop was Chicago, and was there for five years or so.

Could you let me know if you are indeed my cousin’s son?

You two have a wonderful day…by the way awesome photos. What kind of camera are you guys using?
