PeePee Mohawk died this morning.  We thought she had befriended her injuries and would survive.  She was running around with Nails and BubbleMonster and her mama, learning how to peck and bathe in the dirt, until this morning.  Her leg looked to me a bit out of alignment, still a little red, yet she was using it!  This morning when I went to deliver food and water to the pollitos and the mama, I noticed that I did not notice PeePee.  I spotted her kneeling in the land behind me.  It was as if she was running around and then she died.  I don’t know how it happened.  I don’t know if her wounds were infected.  I don’t know.  Yet PeePee Mohawk is no longer living in our corral.

She currently sits perched on a found egg-carton raft amidst our compost.
