peas

TODAY  I was reminded of how when we first arrived here and I told Daniel that I was going to make peas and potatoes for dinner (they were frozen and overwintered from the previous year), and Daniel said, “peas??” gahh…

Well, now it is pea season and the peas are abundant and puffy and plush!  And the first meal I cooked with fresh peas were with shelling peas and I stir-fried them with various choi and a bit of mustard greens.  and we loved the meal and  the peas.  And Daniel ate the food with chop sticks and individually picked and ate every pea in his bowl. yum

and I M SO SLEEPY.  anecdotally speaking.
